E-iceblue upgraded its Spire.Doc to fix doc to rtf bug and add a new feature. Fixing Doc to RTF bug satisfies the urgent needs of Spire.Doc users in time.

(Kjprnews.com) - On Jan. 4, 2012, e-iceblue, persevering in providing high-performance, pure and stable .NET components for handling office files, published its new hotfix version of Spire.Doc. New HotFix Version 4.1.18 makes a breakthrough in both fixing bugs and adding new feature.

Spire.Doc, a professional and powerful Word component, allows users to directly operate Word document, format and style and insert content to Word document without Microsoft Word installed in the computer.

In the former hotfix version, doc to html bug that tab char was incorrectly represented by 8 0xfffd chars and doc to image bug that lines with Justify alignment will be lost were fixed, which means old version solved the problems existing in the former performance process. Undoubtedly, its features are also worth raising. One is that Spire.Doc adds FileFormat WordML to support xml file of MS-Word schema. Another is that it supports .NET Framework Client Profile, the special dlls are under BIN\NET4.0 ClientProfile. The last one is that the special paragraph style which has blank name is also supported by Spire.Doc. These three are the main properties in the former version and offer great convenience to users. After updating, new hotfix version is more expected since it owns another new character.

New HotFix version indeed gives a surprise in its new achievements. It fixed the rtf bug that cannot be dealt with by the old version, that is to say, the float data in twip to point will not cause invalid text lines any more. Users will not bothered by the float data. It also adds Document PageLayout event which will be fired when a new page is created during doc converting to image/pdf. These two aspects are the most significant advancement in this product updating. Are there more other surprises in the next new version? It is another thing concerned by most people. New hotfix version of Spire.Doc cured the problem appearing in the old version. The new feature is also useful when creating a new page during conversion. However, it is far from being perfect and still needs to be improved such as add more new features, investigate new version 4.1.19 or 4.2 and so on.
