August 07, 2010 - ( Kjprnews ) Cheryl Edwards fiancée was killed in VietNam on her 18th birthday. As a result of this experience and her grief journey she chose counseling and helping others as a profession. Cheryl is the owner of Preferred Counseling in Fort Smith, Arizona and is the co-host on the local award winning T.V. program, “Fort Smith Alive”. She is a member of the Association of Death Educators and Counselors.

She has a private practice in Manhattan, NY specializing in grief and loss. She is also author of “Teen Grief Relief” and “Real Men Do Cry”.
