College Application Training announced today the results of the SAT/ACTTest Prep Course held in July 2011, and the new dates for the SAT/ACTTest Prep Course to be held in August 2011. “On average, the studentsraised the scores by over 200 points each," said Chelsea M. The dates for the next College Application TrainingSAT/ACT Test Prep Course will be August 8 to August 26, 2011 in LosAngeles, California, and is open to high school seniors and risingjuniors.
Los Angeles, CA - August 02, 2011 -- College Application Training announced today the results of the SAT/ACTTest Prep Course held in July 2011, and the new dates for the SAT/ACTTest Prep Course to be held in August 2011, according to ManagingDirector, Chelsea M. Hackett.
“I’m very excited about the results from the SAT/ACT Test PrepCourse that was held in July,” said Chelsea. “On average, the studentsraised the scores by over 200 points each. I’m proud to have helpedthem get a head start on the college application process.”
The dates for the next College Application Training SAT/ACT TestPrep Course will be August 8 to August 26, 2011 in Los Angeles,California, and is open to high school seniors and rising juniors. Thecourse will also have follow up sessions in September prior to the SATTest scheduled for October 1, 2011.
“This SAT class was one of my greatest investments,” said studentSammy Sheff. “My vocabulary and logic skills have improved immensely. Ihave become a better test taker, and feel more confident.”
The College Application Training SAT/ACT Test Prep Course combinesstrategies to “beat” the test with old fashioned cram work whileinjecting some humor along the way. Through targeted exercises, gamesand high-impact processes, students will:
• Learn how to reframe their approach to the test that will lower stress while increasing scores.
• Apply one small adjustment that will immediately improve their scores.
• Discover short-term strategies to increase scores.
• Practice longer-term strategies that will give them an advantage going into college.
College Application Training is managed by Chelsea M. Hackett, whohas over 20 years experience with the college application process. Sheattended the University of Southern California (USC) on a meritscholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with adual degree in International Relations and French. Chelsea obtained anMFA in screenwriting from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, where she wasthe recipient of various accolades including the Mary Pickford, FrankSinatra, USC Associates and Women in Film scholarships.
By combiningorganizational skills learned from juggling multiple scripts andproductions to her SAT/ACT prep and essay coaching, Chelsea designed aprogram to train students to create great college applications withminimum stress and maximum individuality.
